we either want to trade for sam darnold or carson wentz we can easily get rid of the 33 million that he makes a year and maybe stretch out his contract and use his bonus and use it towards his yearly contract and make it 25 million a year for 5 years.

We don’t want to do either of those things. We are rolling with Winston. Come to terms with it.

Wentz will be in Chi-town before the end of the weekend

Winston is better/cheaper than Darnold, IMO

How do people like you not understand that Payton wants to roll with Winston and Hill. We haven’t kicked the tires on ANY other QB options. Get used to the idea

It doesn’t matter, it’s what CSP and the organization want to do. It is what it is. Time to stop fantasizing about other options. They aren’t happening.

funny, because pretty much every interview with every Saint player, who's commented on Jameis, has said how much of a leader he is...

it's almost as if some of y'all can't move past the shite he pulled at Florida St. when he was an 18-20 year old... and of course, we all know, people in that age range NEVER act immature.... only Jameis...

well, hate to break it to you, but he WILL be our starting QB for the foreseeable future, unless another team drops an insane amount of money on him, and we don't want to get involved in a bidding war.... in all likelihood, it's probably going to be around the same deal Bridgewater got in Carolina, so that means that for at least 3 years, Jameis is going to be our QB....

and you know what, I'm okay with that.... signing him to a relatively cheap contract, given that he DOES have some talent, and being surrounded with the talent we do have, I think we can still maintain a pretty good footing in the NFC with him at the helm... is there going to be a bit of a drop off? sure, but he's replacing a 1st ballot HOFer, top 5-10 QB of all time... that's to be expected
