0Carson Wentz traded to the Colts for a third and a second round pick (which could become a first if he plays 70% of snaps and Colts make the playoffs).

No one wants Jameis. This helps because there is one less team drafting a QB in the 1st round before the Saints get Mac Jones.

These are not mutually exclusive. In what world do you think a rookie comes in and starts in Sean Payton's offense. Jameis can be a bridge guy, but regardless of what young guy we have, they won't be the starter.
