There’s no guarantee that they would draft a top player. They have been boom or bust lately.

The team will not be in New Orleans. They will be sold to an owner who will put the money into players and coaches, but will move it to another city.

We will not be good again until we have a franchise QB and franchise coach, period. That could be 20 years from now, there’s no telling. Look around the league at teams that just never get really good.
A perfect storm (no pun intended) led us to acquire both in 2006 and the rest is history, the golden years. Yet some low IQ “fans” of ours that got their feelings hurt wanted to run off one or both years ago to rush to this inevitable shitshow.
Let it be a lesson, be careful what you wish for. Here’s where the franchise is for the foreseeable future. This is likely just the tip of the iceberg honestly, it’ll get worse before it gets better.
