We should stop the "Analzone" nickname

I get that many were puzzled or outright angry over his pick, but we haven't even seen the dude play in black and gold yet.
Why not give the kid a chance? Even if you're not a fan, you don't have to hate yet. He didn't ask for his funny name, or to be drafted by the Saints. Or to be often-injured, either.
If he sucks, I'll be first in line to call for his head. But until then, the kid is innocent as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I agree. Can't be mad when a 49er or Falcon fan talks trash and calls him that.
You never he may turn out to be good.
I for one don't even think it's a funny name. But I can see how some found it amusing.
With that being said I am not a fan of the pick at 76. Take Rivers there.

Calling him Analzone has nothing to do with people not liking the pick. Its because his name looks like Analzone.

The AnalZone nickname is endearing. It really has nothing to do with people slamming him.

Nah, it's a funny name, and almost obvious mispronunciation.
99% of people here knew nothing about him. We were fixated on "EDGE" needs, to where drafting the #1 corner and offensive tackle is being questioned by the expectant fans.
Like a lot of Saints fans, I'm also an LSU fan, and the guy was hurt before the LSU-Florida game, so I didn't see him play. So when his name was called, I definitely said WTF...
But look at it this way: every national draft assessment seems to list him as a probable very good pick, not an example of an iffy or a reach. Nobody outside here is saying "oh god, you could have got ____ instead"; they're saying- "hey, good pickup".
Regarding "Analzone": the dude looks like he's a bit of a wild man, and he's supposed to be good. I could see him actually embracing it- he's gonna take that RB to the Analzone.
