We have all talked about if we just had an average defense how much this team could achieve. We have better than that, alhough they are middle of pack on yards 15th they are actually a top ten scoring defense tied for 6th right behind Patriots. More importantly they have consistently made the big play when needed, and seem to be getting better each game. Today was great example Two stops inside the 5 yard line for no points and really only gave up TD when game was over in garbage time. Two goal line stands in one damn game against your biggest rival in biggest game of the year. That’s clutch as hell. I don’t know how many goal line stands and turnovers this unit has this year but damn sure it is more than last few years put together.

I am no longer scared to watch the defense. Props to Dennis Allen and the players on this one. They are one of the big surprises of the year.

A lot of it is not just what we see statistically. They are very young and flying around and having fun. The group shots of these guys are amazing and shows just how much swagger they are playing with. I love it.

damn, this D would be so much better with a healthy Fairley up front.

If everyone would have stayed healthy... we'd have a top 3 def imo.

Dline of: Cam Rankins Fairley Okafor
LB of: Klein Anzalone (or Robertson)
DB of: Latt Vaccaro (or Bell) Williams Crawley
Nickel and dime of: Breaux and PJ

With so much depth. That Dline would have been sooo nasty....

That red zone defense. When you can force stops and turnovers in the red zone you got something special brewing
