We are building to win before and after Brees leaves

Crushed last years draft. Started this one on fire. When it's time for Brees to hang it up, we may just be able to survive it

Aight cool. So when Brees retires and we got no defense how's that going to look?

Please God! No Dobbs!

But we'll have a hell of an OL to make life better for the new QB

At least we will give a new QB to stand upright when the time comes.

Dobbs is the final piece we need to prepare for life after drew. Although we keep nailing draft picks, that might not be for a few years

This draft will be a good one as long as we don't get him.

When Armstead ends up missing 2 games and Ramczyk comes in at left tackle and the Saints offense doesn't miss a beat, everyone is going to love the pick.
Still available in round 2:
Malik McDowell
Tarell Basham
Jordan Willis
DeMarcus Walker
Carl Lawson
Tyus Bowser
Derek Rivers
Tim Williams

I'm so sick of the "win now consequences be damned" idiots. How the frick has that worked out for us the last 5 years.
Keep building your team the right way. We may actually have a real team to put around Brees by next season at this rate. There was no way just coming out of the salary cap swamp and in one round of a draft that you can meet every single need.
The best thing about the draft tonight was the FO not panicking when Foster went. They went to plan B and a guy who may be starting as early as later this season.

It's almost like we are copying the Dallas Cowboys blueprint. Even though your D sucks just keep drafting OL & RB's. Helps keep that crappy D off the field. Having said that #42 better be D and I'll give this draft an A.

Except we'll already be 2-5 because we can't stop the run or get pressure.

And if Strief does go down, it shouldn't be a devastating blow
We have the best offensive line, now with added depth
Would have loved Foster, but shite happens

agreed brother. now, will someone just find me a scatback in the mid rounds. I know we'll get a pass rusher at 42. So someone go find me a scatback. Thanks

So how many points did the defense give up per game the last three years?
That's how many points a rookie QB will have to score.
