1 Green Bay 8 0 0 1.000 2-0-0 6-0-0 .422 .422 NFC North Champ
2 San Francisco 7 1 0 .875 1-0-0 5-1-0 .492 .491 NFC West Champ
3 NY Giants 6 2 0 .750 1-1-0 3-2-0 .349 .362 NFC East Champ
4 New Orleans 6 3 0 .667 2-1-0 3-3-0 .425 .367 NFC South Champ
5 Detroit 6 2 0 .750 2-0-0 4-2-0 .524 .447
6 Chicago 5 3 0 .625

3-3 conference record losing to 2 garbage teams could come back to bite us, i think the Giants are due for another late season collapse though. The 49ers have only played ONE game against an NFC West team so far so they will probably have 11-13 wins. 3rd is probably the best the Saints can do but they can't lay any more eggs.

If SF ends up as 2 than we NEED to get to number 3.

We have the whole season in our hands. We get to play the Giants, Lions, and Falcons. We take care of business and we are fine (though I think you're probably right that we can't catch the 49ers because of their shitty division)

If we can play like we did this past Sunday with our run game dominating and our defense playing with intensity, then we should be set for a #3 seed.

The Giants schedule gets much more difficult this season.

We have 3 away games and 4 home games left. Of those 7, all of them are in domes except for one (Tennessee), so no weather issues.

We have to get a first round home game. We play exponentially better at home than on the road. I don't want to see another seattle debaccle this year.

Not totally out of the realm that Bears/Saints could play each other in the 1st round of the playoffs.

The 49ers will fade a bit. They're playing good football but they still have games with the Ravens and Steelers coming and those away divisional games are tough even if you do play in the shitty NFC West.

We can catch them if we play our game from here on out. No more slip-ups against bad teams.

I like the fact that we have all games except one in a dome, left, but they are playing in the NFC west....I can't see them faltering THAT much.
