yeah. Not sure how many years he has on his contract, but as usual we chose the wrong guy out of him and Armstead. We somehow didn’t know he had a degenerate knee.

Yes and he played well. Ramcyzk has that degenerative knee condition so it’s probably robbed him of a step and that’s all it takes in the NFL.

Untradeable and Ram isn’t walking away from that guarantee payday. We’re stuck, though kicking the can the lessen the hit next year is probably what Loomis will do.

Ram has been one of the top RTs in the NFL for his first 6 seasons, for sure his first 5. I agree he was average last year and has fallen a little more this year. I’d also say Oline play across the NFL has been pretty bad. No way I can hate on the Ram pick, he’ll be a Saint at least through next season and we should all hope that’s the case. I also think some of y’all are over dramatic about his “degenerative” knee problem.

Eta: When I google him about his degenerative knee problem all I get is TD or Saintsreport links. Any good links about it? One article with him saying it’s not a concern
