Its absolutely idiotic that you should ever lose a challenge if you are correct that the referees made a mistake. I get you can't get unlimited challenges, but you should be able to challenge until you incorrectly use two.

I don't like this either. You'd have challenges left and right, the games would drag on forever.

I think a fair compromise is either 2 challenges per half, or, if either of your initial 2 challenges is correct, then you get a third.

This stuck in my craw too. Arnold catches, secures, tucks, turns, steps before a hit jars the ball loose. It’s considered incomplete.

Thomas catches a pass juggles to the ground, then secures it at his ribs lying on his back. Incomplete.

A dB dives, juggles, then eventually secures an interception into his belly with the help the ground. It’s a clear catch.

What about the Strip Sack Fumble they called dead half way through the play.

The Ref Blew the whistle halfway through the sack when the ball was coming out.

I was going crazy.

That line backer left his feet when he crowned kamara in the head.

I thought the first challenge was the worst. While I think MT caught the ball, there was no real good angle where the refs were going to overturn it.

I didn’t have a problem with the 2nd one. It was a 15 yard gain and 1st and Goal from the 6.

What I have a problem with are:
1. Arnold fumbling the ball.
2. Smith dropping the ball.
3. A very basic 4th down play that got stuffed.

and even when he was covered, Michael Thomas dropped some catches that he would normally catch 9 times out of 10

I don't get this point of view. The only way you have more than three challenges is IF the refs are proven to be wrong over and over. You can't challenge left and right, you are done when you incorrectly challenge two. You would prefer we allow incorrect calls to potentially control the outcome of games (as it arguably did last night).

Yea ok, I wasn't thinking it all the way through.

Your method makes sense.

The Wrs were dropping balls, I think it was a result of the physical play of Dallas DBS.

They were pressing, mugging and holding. They played aggressive and Saints only response was to look for flags.

Not arguing that, just frustrated at how a receiver has to make a “football move” but a dB can intercept a pass with his butt.
