Vikings message boards are cringe-worthy

Nothing you post on a message board matters. Calm Down.
It's been 8 years. Get the frick over it. Your team blew that game. 12 men in the huddle after a timeout wasn't because of bountygate.
Just like with the falcons on Thursday Night Football. We lost that game. (If you're still harping over that, get over it.) Sure the refs were shitty, but we had a chance to win it. Brees just blew it. Great teams rise above shitty circumstances.
Football players trying to tackle the QB hard is part of the game. Get mad at flags not being thrown. Not some BS narrative known as "bountygate" that Goodell made up to try and make it seem like he was addressing the league's concussion problems.
There was a payout system for plays being made (sacks and turnovers) not injuring other players because usually that results in your team being penalized. There was no evidence of the Saints paying players to injure other players, and there was never an actual trial. Former Commissioner Paul Tagliabue even commented on how bullshite the whole situation was and how unfair Goodell was. It was a witch hunt to make it seem like Goodell gave a flying frick about player safety. Our team got absolutely destroyed for about 6 years for something that was grossly over exaggerated and that was being done by every other team in the league.

yeah, I remember this about 2009. I've heard them called the smartest fans in football, but they've got to be the dumbest.
When they're good, they just think the team that has it on paper is 100% going to win...which is weird because the Vikings have been absolutely soul crushing for almost 50 years

For how “rigged” that 09 championship game was, I found it awfully mysterious that the saints had 90 penalty yards to 10 for the Vikings with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Delusional fan base who has nothing to do but talk about welding, strip clubs, and the Vikings. I guess the PI call in over time was bad but it’s not like we couldn’t have marched and kicked the fg anyways
