His going for it was fine. His playcalling was atrocious, and either the coach or Ponder fricked up really bad by needing to use a TO after the return.

Like I said, the challenge should have been done. Best case TD, worst case you just use a TO to help you get a TD on 4th down.

This was just hilarious. How do you need a TO in this situation? You have a playcall and a possible audible in case you trust your QB enough to call one that close to the end zone.
