I would think the NFL knows better than to ever book any of those guys here, right?
those guys are all on different crews... so unless the NFL subs them out... we'll run into them at some point this season
Referee Bill Vinovich will have his own crew again this season... which will also include umpire Bruce Stritesky & side judge Gary Cavaletto (let's call him offender A)... who was also on THAT crew back in January
Stritesky & Cavaletto were apart Vinovich's regular crew last season
as for the rest of that NFCCG officials...
Down Judge Patrick Turner (let's call him offender B & main offender since he actually grabbed for his flag but then decided not to throw it) will be on Craig Wrolstad's crew this season after being on Tony Corrente's crew last year
Line Judge Rusty Baynes is back on Jerome Bogar's crew
Field Judge Tom Hill returns to Shawn Hochuli's crew
Back Judge Todd Prukop is again with Tony Corrente's crew

Just had choppa style come on randomly on my Spotify and I skipped it. I thought I’d be ready to go by now, but I just can’t get excited
If I have this same feeling in 4 weeks, I’m gonna be concerned

3 storylines to watch for in Saints preseason opener vs. Vikings LINK
1. Backup quarterbacks with a future on the line
Bridgewater might be the heir apparent, but the plan for him to replace Drew Brees is hardly written in stone. While he mostly made good decisions with the ball in his lone start last year, he had some struggles and maybe some rust to knock off after spending a few years rehabbing his knee injury. He needs to prove he can be the guy to replace Brees. Fans can only take Sean Payton’s word for it for so long.
And Taysom Hill has something to say about that, too. While the Saints have gotten increasingly inventive with Hill’s usage and rare athleticism, he still sees himself as someone who could take over from No. 9 someday. He flopped as a passer in the preseason a year ago and probably wants to redeem himself. With J.T. Barrett waived earlier in training camp and Brees not expected to see much time against the Vikings, Hill and Bridgewater should end up in something close to a head-to-head competition.
2. Rookies making their NFL debut
It’s not just the highly-regarded draft picks like McCoy at center and C.J. Gardner-Johnson at safety stepping out in black and gold for the first time; there’s a crowd of scrappy undrafted rookies competing for jobs, too. Running back Devine Ozigbo and wide receiver Emmanuel Butler have both had good training camps so far, and it’s time they step up beneath the bright lights.
Don’t overlook their peers, either. Linebacker Kaden Elliss has made a handful of plays and is already listed as the backup middle linebacker. Safety Saquan Hampton has already put together an impressive highlight reel. First-year long-shots like nose tackle Shy Tuttle and wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey could really use some highlights of their own.
3. Returns on special teams investments
The Saints may have spent more money on special teams than any other team this summer. That goes beyond the huge contract extension for kicker Wil Lutz. Payton rebuilt his special teams coaching staff from the ground up, recruiting former Miami Dolphins coordinator Darren Rizzi. Rizzi brought in his own assistants including Phil Galiano (Penn State’s special teams coordinator last year) and former NFL linebacker Michael Wilhoite.
Their spending extends to the roster. Special teams aces linebacker Craig Robertson, safety Chris Banjo, and cornerback Justin Hardee were re-signed, while new faces including punt returners Marcus Sherels and Deonte Harris were added. Rookies like Hampton, Butler, and Elliss can help their case to make the team by showing up big-time on the punt and kickoff coverage units. Their campaign to earn a roster spot starts Friday night.

I'll try it tonight, but I saw on Twitter that you can watch NFL games on the Yahoo sports app.

I'm interested in 4 position battles. Mostly WR & DE.
RB - I would say Rodgers, but he's only been with the team for 2-3 days. Ozigbo & Dwayne Washington could be a solid battle.
WR - I'm not sure if Dural or Lil'Jordan have much of a chance. I don't need to see any of Mike Thomas or Ginn. I'll, literally, be watching 8 WR's...Tre'Quan, Kirkwood, Rishard Matthews, Emmanuel Butler, Carr, Simmie Cobbs, Deonte Harris (KR/PR), & Cyril Grayson.
DE - Not really interested in Jordan or Davenport playing (maybe game #3). We need Hendrickson to take the next step in his development. It would also be nice to hit on just 1 out of these 4 DE's...Wes Horton, Geneo Grissom, Porter Gustin, & Corbin Kaufusi.
If none of these 5 backups can prove to be legit...we might have to make a trade.
CB - Crawley vs. Kayvon Webster for backup outside CB.
I would say OL, but I'm not the best at evaluating that position. QB as well. Defensive Back, WR, & RB come very natural to me compared to other positions.
Want to watch CGJ & Saquan Hampton as well.

He should really join the lawsuit. He was riding a wave that reappeared out of nowhere and now all his song is is a reminder of the stolen SB season.

I love watching the rookies and 2nd string in these things but unless a starter needs the reps I don’t want to see them playing.

does MT13 get a few snaps since he was late to camp with his holdout and may need a few extra reps?
