I don't think we can win a game with either Rattler or Wilson (if Shough were out injured).

Wonder if there is a chance a veteran cut by another team is signed?

Wilson is a good option at QB2. He'll basically be Jamies Winston minus the outgoing personality. He'll make some "wow" throws and some "WTF" decisions.
Legit starting experience
Enough talent to be former high draft pick
Arm talent to make every throw
Inconsistent enough to be relatively cheap
Still young enough to improve (provided he's committing to in practice & the film room)

Rattler, I honestly cannot pick 1 positive thing that he provides on Sundays that Wilson does not.
I've seen enough. I'll still root for him if/when he ever plays, even for another team, but for 3 years now we've seen him make the same mistakes.

OL: Banks, Edwards, McCoy, Ruiz, Fuaga, Sherman, Richards, Wright, Simpkins
- I think Sherman/Simpkins are in a battle with other cut players around the league.

I had been keeping Simpkins ahead of Sherman, but through 2 preseason games now I haven't seen Simpkins take that next step to separate himself.
Easton Kilty is one that has also shown versatility at T & G, and graded out well from PFF as the #1 player in wk1, and #2 in wk2. He may have just pushed himself onto the roster. Only thing hurting him is that both Simpkins & Sherman can also play C.

DL: Godchaux, Miller, Broughton, Shepherd, Ridgeway

I guess Godchaux is a lock since he hasn't played a preseason snap? He got better as the '25 season went on but still not great. Khristian Boyd has been making some plays and I had thought/hoped he'd have given Godchaux a real challenge for his spot.
