i don't know why everyone hates on cowherd...he publically admits he's a ratings whore...and talking about the saints doesn't give him ratings b/c we are not a big market team...he also never mentions LSU on his show when talking about college football powers...regardless, his show is entertaining is hell

Funny that people rag on Cowherd for flip-flopping when, ironically, the same Saints fans hated Dilfer last week after his comments about Garrett Hartley.

Actually, it was only until last season when he stopped mentioning LSU. Cowherd used to be real high on us pre-2008. Put us in all of the top programs of the decade list.

He has said that LSU has a very good defense, but that our offense is atrocious. About what you'd expect.

What I find the most annoying is that he starts off every show with "this is how I was right and everybody else was wrong."

I don't have a problem with that because he also admits when we's wrong, or at least changes his opinion with new information.

I've never heard that from him.
What also really irritates me is how he never lets a caller finish. If someone calls in and they disagree with him, he immediately hangs up on them.

Sometimes he's genuinely funny. But I really don't think he knows anymore than most of us, and for some reason he annoys the crap out of me at times.

Most of the time he's not even talking about sports, but rather the business around sports which is ok.
He doesn't have a humble bone in his body. Some relate to that, some don't.

Not even remotely close.
Greenberg/Golic/Schlereth/Cowherd/Stuart Scott/Chris Berman, and probably a few more. Of those guys I just listed, not a single one of them will EVER give you any valuable information, nothing you can't hear from every other sports talk radio show or channel, so bland.
