Trade cooks for a 1st rounder and draft the next OBJ Dede Westbrook?

If cooks is not happy in our offense no need to hang on to him til he's a free agent and goes elsewhere and get nothing, trade him while he's still worth a first round pick and draft Dede Westbrook to replace him, his speed and ball skills are the same if not better than cooks

Hey I'm all for keeping cooks but he's obviously not happy, he's gonna leave when he's a free agent if they don't change his role

Please explain how you know he's not happy here.
Are you a friend of his?
A teammate ?
A family member?

I think the whole cooks frustration conversation has been blown completely out of proportion by the media...I think Cooks responds today. Sean and Pete are going to dial up some double moves and deep routes (just llike they did last week early in the game) but Drew will have the time to step up in the pocket this week as opposed to last week against the Rams stong front 4. The adjustments the Saints made offensively were textbook using screens, tight ends, and quick pops. That style offense isn't made for BCooks and maybe that's why he didn't get the rock. I think Brees takes some shots to him this game. Don't trade that dude!

Our offense is quickly evolving into one where defenses have to pick their poison. If they choose to shut down Cooks then Thomas, Snead and the TEs will beat you. For the plays that they decide to man up, Cooks will win those and make his plays.
We are becoming very dangerous on offense. Keep building the OL and this thing can roll for a few more years.

He's not happy with his role as he stated, therefore if his role don't change he won't be happy here, it don't take a genius to figure that out

*checks to see if Westbrook had a big day on national TV yesterday *
Hey, that guy I never heard of before yesterday but had a huge game on national television yesterday and I saw him? WE MUST DRAFT HIM OR WE ARE STUPID!

When cooks was in the draft process his statement was he can be a desean Jackson without the distractions, why complain about not getting the ball in a WIN, I could see if we lost the game but a WIN? C'mon man

He had a big day playing only the first half. If you don't know who he is its bc you aren't watching college football. Dude has been the most dynamic receiver in the country this year. Not saying I agree with him being our first round pick, but don't be surprised if he's the first wr off the board.

Some teams have also deemed wide receiver Dede Westbrook as undraftable, per Tony Pauline of DraftAnalyst.com:
quote:
Beside the reasons previously mentioned such as declining an invitation to the Senior Bowl then not participating in combine workouts, I’ve been told Westbrook’s interviews here in Indianapolis have been horrible. Those at the interviews say Westbrook has been guarded and seemed untruthful. There are also off the field issues, many well documented and some more of a personality nature.
Hell, Joe Mixon has a shorter rap sheet in the violence against women category:

In 2012, Westbrook was accused of throwing the mother of two of his children to the ground. In 2013, Westbrook was accused of biting the same woman’s arm and punching her in the face with a closed fist.
