Navy man. Usually the best part of the DD214 is not having to stay in VA

its not bad where I live. You don't have to worry about Sunday Ticket because this area broadcasts every Saints game.
plus, if you want to drive over it only takes 2 hours to get to New Orleans. I ride a bus over to the games myself. The way I see it, I'd be paying just as much to gas up my truck for the trip over and back. Plus, you can drink a few beers at the game and not have to worry about driving home with a buzz
when I was in school at Auburn for a few years, I could only watch the primetime games, hated it. They cover the Falcons up there... but I did go to the Georgia Dome both years to watch the Saints-Falcons because Auburn isn't very far from ATL.

Follow up to all you out of towners, how did you become saints fans? From NO? From LA?
I'm from BR originally, lived and worked in NO after LSU, bought a house in Mandeville.

I was a Navy man. The only reason I'm still here is I bought a house and we bought the damn thing at the wrong time.

That's none of your damn business and ill thank you to stay out of my personal affairs
But for real, I already have a deal worked out with the guy that sits next to me at the dome. If that ever falls thru ill send ya an email.

I was born in Morgan City, grew up around that area, and then moved to the Florida Panhandle during middle school.
It's funny because when I first moved there no one was a Saints fan. Now when I visit they're freaking everywhere. Hell, even growing up in Morgan City there were a lot of non-Saints fans, which disgusted me.

You can find a slice of Chicago, New York, L.A., whatever city you wish - anywhere in America. You just can't find a slice of New Ahlins anywhere though - ain't nothing like it.

True. I was telling my wife the other day that it's like nowhere else in the country, in the world for that matter. She's from the Albany, NY area and has never been there.

you can head down to shoal creek if you want - however....I would highly recommend Lucy's for Saints games. It's packed wall to wall inside and out, we have a blast, and usually The Boss St Brass Band plays as soon as the game is over with. It's a fricking riot
