Deke is so bad he makes the sports hangover guys seem like radio legends (they suck too).

I reside in P'cola Fl and listen to wwl radio more than local. Be happy for what you have. If not please...any names of the shows along the gulf coast or on line would just be more options folks could share.

Yeah, we are stuck with the god awful Paul Finebaum show every afternoon here in Mobile. I wish WNSP would change their format. 
I'll stream WWL sometimes during the week, but only during the weeks leading up to the draft. On gamedays we get the full coverage from WWL

This is correct. Big Chief is the worst though.
He's dumb, does little to no research to have any clue what he's talking about, and is AWFUL when it comes to callers. He either let's some jackass ramble on for 10-15 minutes about nothing OR he cuts them off immediately b/c they disagree with something he said. He's terrible

I can't stand to listen to WWL in the evenings anymore. The combo of Deke & the constant commercials did me in. I swear Deke must have pics of the station manager with a little boy to keep his job. The only time I like to listen is after the games on the ride home.

The worst is when the drunks that give Deke and Bobby liquor on gameday call in and Deke talks to them for 5-10 minutes even though they're usually fricking drunk and make no sense while on air.

Now that you mention I haven't heard him on 690 in a while. Last thing I can remember from him was the Drew Brees is hooked on painkillers and forgetting the plays story.
