I’d also take a look at Hankins. His price tag has surely taken a hit to where he won’t break the bank at all. I’m fairly certain Hill, Hooman and Watson are the TEs. And I’d much rather see TreQuan Smith battle it out with Ted Ginn for the third WR spot than have a 3-way competition with Dez thrown in.
I think Smith has a really high ceiling and can make an impact for us this year

Agreed. I'd rather not see another Adrian Peterson type situation again.

Us signing Dez would remind me too much of the Adrian Peterson situation last year. I'll pass.
I don't think drafting two CBs, even if just for special teams, plays in Breaux's favor, but I don't see what it hurts re-signing him.
I would feel better about O-line depth if they signed someone like Austin Howard, but hopefully some of the young guys will be ready to contribute (Cameron Tom, Landon Turner, Jack Allen?, Leonard, Clapp). Strief's recent endorsement of Tom is somewhat reassuring.

Offensive line and defensive tackle depth should be the only discussion as of now. Hopefully a few position guys can make an impact during camp, but we need some solid veteran like depth

Not sure if anyone saw this, but OT Austin Howard signed with the Colts yesterday. Looks like we're going to just roll with what we currently have on the O-Line.
We really need Bushrod to be legit for us this year. We also need 1 of the young guys to step up. We should be ok if we have have 2 legit backups on the O-Line.

If there are two units I would like to see us carry a extra guy its the o-line and CB's.
