Can’t you read? The “owner” went on record

He wasn’t in court brother. He nor the browns aren’t beholden to anything.

Ole boy doesn't know the difference between the Browns owner & the GM either.

There is a not a ton of smoke re: Sanders to Cleveland either. I doubt they want him - they seem prime to take Hunter/Carter.
If anything the Browns have played quiet thus far. No true tells given, or smoke for that matter.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam admits Deshaun Watson trade was 'a big swing and miss'
quote:
Team owner Jimmy Haslam used the phrase at Tuesday's NFL owners meetings, via Cleveland.com, adding that fans and media can hold "me and Dee accountable," a reference to his wife and co-owner.
"We took a big swing and miss with Deshaun," Haslam said. "We thought we had the quarterback, we didn't and we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him. So we've got to dig ourselves out of that hole. [It] was an entire organization decision, and it ends with Dee and I, so hold us accountable."
quote:
Coach Kevin Stefanski said Tuesday he believes in Pickett, a former first-round pick of the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, as a potential starter. Haslam himself suggested "it would be great if we could get" a top quarterback prospect early in the 2025 NFL Draft, in which the Browns hold the No. 2 overall pick, "but we're not going to force it."

Of course not. But its def a sign of what most seem to think. Theyre playing close to the vest, and they are doubtful to move off of pick no 2.
Do you really think they want to pass on Hunter or Abdul Carter.
They have their pick of 2 crazy talents, or Ward if titans go with one of Hunter/Abdul Carter.
Reason alone indicates Browns arent really in the business of moving up.

Browns owner went on record yesterday saying they were unlikely to move up, and that there’s talent to select where theyre at. LINK quote: Berry told a small contingent of Cleveland media members that it was "unlikely" the team would trade up to No. 1 overall to select the top quarterback in the class, Miami's Cam Ward. quote: Cleveland's top executive did add that "anything is possible," and he's known to never slam the door on any potential move up or down the draft. That said his comments certainly suggest that an aggressive move to No. 1 is likely not in the cards for the Browns.
Literally what I quoted, and the point was that nobody can really tell what the browns are looking to do, other than theyre sitting pretty knowing they cam get 1 of Ward/Hunter/Carter at no 2.
There’s def not a lot of speculation going on that theyre the movers in this draft.

Apparently you can't though. Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has been mentioned multiple times in this thread already yet you post an article about the Browns GM Andrew Berry referring to him as the Browns "owner".

Clearly Super meant the owner and GM in response to the two links.

The link you provided doesn't contain not one quote from Brown's owner Jimmy Haslam. The only quote in the article comes from Yahoo Sports writer Charles Robinson & the line you quoted from him is just Robinson's personal opinion. Do better.

While the final evaluations are being made, Callahan claimed the Titans remain open for business at No. 1 overall while speaking with reporters at this week’s annual league owner meetings.
“You do your due diligence and weigh whatever is being presented,” Callahan said. “If we feel [the trade offer] is beyond the value of what we thought we could get [in a trade], that’s one thing. But then you also have to look at what is a potential franchise quarterback. If you think [the QB] is that good, those guys are priceless. There is no price you can put on those types of players. You have to balance all those things. If there is a price that’s being offered, is that what you want to do? Or is the quarterback worth passing on that price? It’s a QB-driven thing. We’re potentially going to receive some offers, and those are things we have to look at. We’re open to everything. We’ve been consistent in our approach. That hasn’t changed. We’re doing our due diligence to all the options available to us.”

“A franchise qb is priceless.”
Here is a shitload of words about the price of moving up to our spot to get the guy YOU think is a franchise qb but we likely don’t since we are in fact beating around the bush about price for a self proclaimed “priceless” position.

I don’t think Ward will be what the media keeps trying to portray either.
There is no clear franchise QB in this draft, especially at the top Ward and Sanders are both extremely over hyped
