Dennis Allen must go...along with much of his staff. Poor play calling, and poor coaching will not win many games in this league.
Age is starting to catch up with the Saints, also. Alvin Kamara seems to have lost his quickness to hit the holes or is it the aging offensive line is not opening holes? Andrus Peat? Hasn't he been here since the 90's? Just a joke, guys.
Honeybadger...gotta love him, but he's lost a step or two. Just like Cam Jordan, he's not producing as much and it's evident. Sure, we love him but it's a business and if you want to compete you must reload with comparable talent to the rest of the teams in the NFL.
I know this post will generate lots of downvotes but we must face the truth about the Saints. Time to stop the downward spiral.
Time to bring in some fresh muscle with quickness.

Can you reword the thread title, I don't want the front office to see it and start considering Matt House for DC.
Your post will get downvotes because none of the moves for changing players is possible due to cap constraints. Other posters do not disagree with the message, just understand it does not take into consideration the entire picture.

If this is as good as we can be...and it is. We aren't getting younger, don't have the draft capital to address all our needs, and we don't have the cap flexibility to go get players to fill those needs...yes you should hit the reset button as best you can.
NFL gifted the Saints the weakest division and one of the easiest schedules in football and we can't seem to do anything with it.
Coaching is our biggest problem but like you said our best players are no longer among the best in the NFL at their positions. Not Thomas, Kamara, Cam, Ram, anyone...Lattimore is but he also got carted off yesterday
Our rebuild will be painful...because of the cap situation we will be feeling it for years. Because of our contracts and how they are worked we can't flip as many players as we would like for anything close to their value.
Any rebuild of course starts with a new staff but you won't get a good staff when they know what they are walking into. A can't win now or or anytime soon situation. That staff will be lame ducks upon arrival. Around to keep us with some sort of structure, find some building blocks for the future, and clean up the books...in 3 or 4 years when they do that their record during that time will lead to them being dismissed.
For two years we have tried to remain competitive post Sean and keep a team around that peaked back in 2018. In doing so we have missed our window to be competitive and have sabotaged our ability to attempt a reasonable short term rebuild.
I get doing it in 2019...Drew's last run...but how many times can Gayle and Mickey see the results and convince themselves we are just an off-season away?
NFL starts at QB...watch the best play; Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, even the young guys coming up like Stroud or the guys still getting better year after year and realize how far down the pecking order you are with your 100 million dollar QB or your pretty pricey backup that threw you back into and out of the game yesterday against Dobbs...yes their 3rd string QB that had been on the team for a little over what 9 days
I want to rip the bandaid off...this team will bring me no happiness under its current leadership or watching the players have their best football slowly taken from them playing on a roster for a team with the only aspirations it can reasonably attain is to win a division with 9 wins then get embarrassed on opening Wildcard weekend

hot name is Ben Johnson but the Saints sleepers should be Bobby Slowick, Frank Smith, and Press Taylor

They are not firing him. If anything they are giving him an extension. Trust the Process.
But keep your hopes up

The only thing that will force change is an empty
superdome. Its that simple. If people show up to watch this
undisiplined horrible Offensive team they get what they
deserve.

Unfortunately the NFC South will keep Allen employed another year
It's so bad the Saints are still in contention and will be until the final weekend to win the division.
