That's my issue. Had we lost to a good team I wouldn't be concerned as losing to an average team

They haven’t been average since they added Amari Cooper. I’m amazed they won any games at all with Gallup and Beasley as their top two receivers. That’s not to say Cooper is some transcendent talent, but he’s still a very dangerous receiver and it’s opened up their whole offense. Teams just sold out to stop Zeke prior to the trade. They haven’t had a guy at his level out wide since Dez was young. I don’t like Dallas or their blowhard fans, but they’re going to win the NFC east and they’re going to be a tough out for anyone in the playoffs. It’s a pretty complete defense at every level and Zeke and Cooper complement each other well.

The defense was never average though. Sean called a shitty game. He had a shitty plan going in and stuck with it rather than adjusting to what Dallas was doing. That’s not a new phenomenon, but it’s not a common one either. It’s the NFL, shite happens sometimes.

The sticking point for me this game was our receiver corps. Nobody except for MT could get open (even thought he was held on nearly every play).

In the playoffs, they are going to have to get off of jams and run through the contact. Hopefully Marshall gets a grasp of the offense and his big body can create enough space. We all know Drew can fit the ball into any space.

Ginn will help open things up assuming he’s back. They played good defense, but I don’t think they get the same amount of pressure if armstead is back. This team hasn’t really been challenged in a while. They just have steamrolled. It was tough to rise to the adversity, but truth be told— we lost by 3 points.

We had Armstead vs the Rams. Bushrod was playing like crap against the cowboys and all the pressure came from the left side.

“We had Armstead vs the Rams. Bushrod was playing like crap against the cowboys and all the pressure came from the left side.“ this has alot ro do with it bushrod needed more help so the inside was more vulnerable plus he missed a few pickups that led to brees geting hit alot more than normal

All of the OL played poorly, not just Bushrod. We needed to win that battle and we didn’t. Armstead would have helped but Peat/Warford still played like dog shite
