You know it’s pronounced Shuck right?

The physical tool set honestly reminds me of Jamies. More tall than solid, but solid enough. Can evade pressure and run, but is not a running qb. And an arm that can challenge a defense anywhere in a sideline to sideline box stretching 55 yards downfield. In underestimated just how good Shough’s arm actually is.

Hopefully the god of pick 6s smiles upon Shough.

but does anyone else see a little bit of Josh Allen in Shough
Not quite as good at scrambling, but I think I made this comparison after the draft (and maybe during preseason) that he has a lot of the same qualities. Allen was also known as not the most accurate thrower coming out of college (in fact he was FAR worse at 56.2% compared to Shough's 63%), but turns out you can improve at that once you hit the nfl...

Allen has a better arm (maybe better than anyone) and is more athletic.

Shough has a strong arm and decent pocket presence so far, but comparing him to Josh Allen because they were both inaccurate in college is silly when Allen has traits to project upside that Shough can never dream about.

I’m optimistic about Shough as a viable NFL QB. He will never be Allen.

I actually think he has a similar pocket presence as a Joe Burrow to be honest. Maybe not as tough or football smart but somewhere between Joe and a Matt Ryan.

It was the way he evaded the rush that made me think of Burrow.
