This Staff relies HEAVILY on the TE in Passing Game. Do we have even Average Starters ??

We just made Juwan a top 10 paid TE and wouldn’t have come close to beating out Mason Taylor last 3 years.
Plenty of other SEC TEs that he wouldn’t have played in front of recently (Bowers, Pitts, etc). Horrible signing by Loomis.

Your first question is a good one.
I think we have several average TEs or #2s on some well stocked teams. Taysom is definitely an above average nfl player.

My question asks whether we even have Avg. players at TE….it’s a question making a statement (obviously a comment above your head and too complex for the single neuron in your brain).
The premise denotes we REQUIRE outstanding players at TE because the scheme will rely HEAVILY on the TE in passing game.
The talent level at TE on the Saints is so low…. I’m asking if we even have an Average player at TE when the REQUIREMENT is …we need an Outstanding player at TE !!
You see by asking whether we even have Avg player at TE…. aims to show the HUGE gap of talent at TE between what we actually NEED and what we actually currently POSSESS on the ROSTER.
My second question question regarding whether our TE’s could EVEN compete at the CFP level…. also makes a statement. To simply ask this question effectively shows how BELOW AVG I think the current crop of TE talent on the Saints roster resides (you still with me).
We don’t have one high quality TE on the Saints roster. Period !!
Just because Loomis decided to pay Juwan Johnson as a Top 10 NFL TE …does not increase Johnson’s lowly talent level and Make him BECOME a top 10 TE talent…. that’s just stupidity by Loomis !!
Taysom is a gadget QB !!
He earns 10 million a year and should be released to free up that money for other free agent players we need (TE, WR, CB, etc).
I should be charging money for these tutorials …..but you are an old friend.
Consider it… a Professional Courtesy.
