This isn’t a good defense

At all. Offense seems to be clicking. But this is just not a good defense. Coaching has completely failed to utilize the strongest assets, namely the defensive line. Huge gaps in the secondary although partially due to injury.

I agree that the Saints Defense is not very good.

Cam has been our only DE to register any impact this season which is frustrating because we are so deep at the position and have invested multiple first round picks in it. Not sure if it’s coaching/scheming or what. We got a lot of production out of the position last year.

I don’t claim to be an expert - but I focused on Davenport tonight. He was getting blocked easy by their left tackle on passing downs. Like not even competitive.

Funny. I did the exact same thing man. And I try not to be an unfair hater. Davenport has been an impact player the last couple of seasons. I’ve seen him blow up the pocket. He has done absolutely nothing this season. Nothing l. Zilch. Nada
