Agreed man. Just seem like an actual organization that isn’t hotshotting trying to fill holes like we’re a player or two from the Super Bowl.

Look, this is a process draft. OTs aren’t sexy but it’s how you build. And let’s be honest we are coming off the floor.

I think Moore is the right guy.

Definitely not concerned with filling the glaring holes on the roster.

The entire roster is a hole. Any position you pick we need.

I do have a lot of confidence in our young coach. I just hope people are patient with him. He's a winner.

Using the draft to fill holes even if glaring is a fools errand long term. I’m glad they’re not trying to piecemeal this shite every year.

Pretty good draft so far. I don’t like the Shough pick though. He seems like Derek Carr 2.0, but cheaper of course. Good between the 20s, no red zone threat.

When Staley was with the Chargers he hand-picked a 310 lb guy as his primary DI, not a 330lb+ 2-gapper.
Yet one of the first moves we made this off-season was trading for a 330 lbs nose...

If you're reaching it is. Our only reach was for the backup qb but the lack of upgrades at cb, pass rusher, and offensive weapons this offseason is atrocious.

If we have the amount of holes people claim, you start filling them from the inside out, not vice versa. This year we are building the foundation, next year we add the flair (while still making sure the foundation is strong).

I know people hate it, but Cooks was a partial addressing of WR this year. And I know how most feel about Mr Concussion, but we picked up his 5th year and he is currently in the plans. And Shaeed will be back as well.

That's not a great group, but it's a get done what you can group. We definitely need to upgrade, but it didn't fall that way this year in FA or the draft. There are still some FAs out there though, so we can go get a guy if we feel lacking still.

CB we still need to address, but we at least partially covered it with Sanker helping with the slot role (he has played a ton of slot in college). I still think we need a legit outside corner, but there are still many left in FA to fill the void for this year.

I'm definitely curious to see what we do after the draft, since so many tier 2 and 3 FAs were left hanging more than in years past.

Except for wasting the 40th pick

This is going to take several years. This roster has been heavily neglected with the dearth of total picks and lack of picks that have hit. No need to fill the roster with guys you’re not crazy about on multi year deals. There will be plenty of stopgap players available after the draft.

I'm not a huge fan of that either, but I'm taking a wait and see approach. I'm guessing we didn't want to be left with Rattler and Haener if Carr does need surgery.

Do you think he's an immediate substantial upgrade over Rattler and Haener?

Dylan Sampson off the board now. This year is bound to be the one Kendre stays healthy.

I truly don't know but I am willing to wait and see.

I KNOW those 2 are not it. There was nothing shown that says they will ever even be legit backups.

Good luck to Shough showing anything when Olave and Cooks go down and Kamara starts down the rb cliff.

Carr dealt with the same shifty situation as those 2, yet still pulled 3 Ws out of it (1st 2 Ws of his total 5 were with a largely healthy team).

So is Carr as terrible as everyone claims? If so than those 2 are infinitely worse than Carr.

People can't have it both ways. Those 2 will never be long term nfl players.

Yes

I have to trust in our HC

He was a QB

He knows something about this guy
