it's funny because I take Panera bread for granted being that they have them in FL and Cali, and NC and other places I have lived besides NOLA. They are ok but they are always packed as hell.

In-N-Out doesn't franchise. They're privately owned and operated.

All of their locations must be within a day's drive of their sole distribution center because their food is not frozen. That's why they are only in a few states.

They are opening a new location in Garland, TX and building a new distribution center for that location. I would guess that will spur a few new sites around that area. But New Orleans would probably still be too far to justify sending a truck every day or two.

Drew Brees needs to lay down the law and demand that a Drew Brees distribution center be built in New Orleans!

He has spoken numerous times In-N-Out is his favorite. The Breesus has spoken!

Has there ever been a successful "Food Chain" franchise owned by pro athlete ? ...

Magic Johnson's fat burger is going belly up right now...

I can't think of anyone that has just killed it.

Good luck with it if he does... numbers aren't on his side, but than again they weren't for him either in XLIV.
