There's no doubt I'm worried, but slow starts aren't anything new with the saints

Since 2017, they've lost 1 of 1st 2 games every season. They've lost 2 of 3 now in 3 seasons. Hopefully they can figure some things outs in the next few weeks

Big reason why we could right the ship then was Drew Brees and Sean Payton...both are gone. We are grasping at straws with a HC who hasn't won anything and a QB that can't get the ball to the talent around him.

Difference is how much practice time do we get in before going to/in London. We should beat the Vikings, but if our secondary is still banged up it can be a long morning. We come home to the Seahawks, which should be an easy W, but Geno gave it to us last season. Then we have the Bengals, and I fear Hendrickson may actually kill Winston with the way our line blocks.

We can very well be 2-5 or 5-2 after that stretch and I wouldn't be surprised.

We should beat the Vikings? What team have you been watching? We are a miracle 40 yard completion away from being 0-3, losing to bottom feeders like Carolina and Atlanta.

We should be underdogs in every game until our offense proves it can do something.

I’m not jumping off DA wagon right now. Our D has been solid outside of Falcons and no question will remain a good D. DA is a defensive coach just like SP was offensive and had some horrible years on defense before he figured it out. At some point we will need a legitimate O coordinator though. Winston is a stop gap, is what it is. Hopefully we can find someone in next few years, our D will remain solid while waiting on one. Unfortunate about Oline play, saints have tried hard to keep a good one but it’s difficult to keep all 5 great on Oline with how salary cap is and needs elsewhere
