In which Loomis is going to be let go. Whatever some are reading, or have a brother's ex wife , former college roommate, cousin that works for the Saints, he will be the GM, until he is not. The Saints quit on DA, and Gayle has realized that, and she pulled the plug. Now, having said all of that, IMO, Loomis needs to dump some salaries, albeit trades, tomorrow, or on draft day. It should start by trading down , if and when they select in the first round in April.

Loomis is responsible for DA and that decision failed. Everybody but Loomis knew it would fail. He must go.

He's still employed is he? I'm definitely not taking up for him, but he is still employed.

His days as Saints GM are numbered. He will not be in that role next season. Now, whether that is sooner or later who knows. I strongly feel he's out as GM though.
