The time to move up is in the middle rounds this year.

We have a couple extra picks and what this class lacks in top end talent, it makes up for in depth. There are lots of guys in the 3-5 rounds that could be quick contributors.

I could see moving to get a second 70’s pick (Sarratt, Rutledge, Orange maybe), but we’d have to give up the two 4ths and 5ths I think

I’d like to move up overly third or combine some 4ths for an extra 3rd. Very good talent will still be available in that 70-80 range.

Rutledge

I would definitely love to pick Rutledge and out Ruiz on a train.

Everyone that keeps saying this needs to be a defensive draft is absolutely retarded. The defense was a solid unit last year. We need a pass rusher, but that is the only defender that REALLY needs to be taken in the first 3 rounds. I would like to add a corner later, and maybe a NT.

Literally EVERYTHING ELSE needs to be about building around Shough. This offense was not good last year. It was HORRENDOUS with Rattler, and Shough was able to come in and elevate the play of a roster with no weapons (other than Olave amd Juwan).

And Olave is not a threat to do ANYTHING after the catch or to even make contested catches.

If you start putting weapons around him, and this team could make some noise.

Fine with me for the right player. Maybe Shough’s guy at Louisville will be there although I’d like KC Conception at 42 if we don’t get a WR at 8 which I hope we don’t. I’d love to get Delane, Conception and Bell from Louisville or Stowers from Vandy.
