The thing that hurts the most is we can not do anything about it.

For us die hard fans that live and die on every play this no call will haunt us till the day we die. I know some people will say to just get over it but that's not possible. We were robbed of so much. This hurts beyond belief. Drew Brees's career is coming to an end and a story book ending was ripped away from us.

WWL posted article with NFL rule 17 that actually shows that Goodell has the power to fix this major screw up if he wanted to.
But they do have this little statement at the end that Goodell can use for his reason to leave it alone.
LINK
quote:
"The Commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take appropriate disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any... calamity occurs in an NFL game which the Commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game," Rule 17 of the NFL Rule Book reads in Section 2.
quote:
So what can corrective measures can the commissioner take?
"The reversal of a game’s result or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred."
But they do have this little statement at the end that Goodell can use for his reason to leave it alone.
quote:
"The Commissioner will not apply authority in cases of complaints by clubs concerning judgmental errors or routine errors of omission by game officials. Games involving such complaints will continue to stand as completed."

I agree that it’s a helpless feeling. They have acknowledged it was a horrible no call and it is obvious to anyone who isn’t bias.

Yes. Nothing will be done. Now I know how Cowboys fans felt with the “is it a catch?” Dez fiasco.

We can send Roger Goodell an anchovie, onion, pineapple pizza every 10 minutes and all hours of the night from Uber eats for the rest of his life.
