I definitely feel like I'm one of the few on this board who are not interested in Verrett. Big corners are the trend because big receivers are the trend.. Verrett is really small.

Unless there is no other decent values there (and even then I'd rather trade down but I know how difficult that is going to be in this draft with how deep it is) I don't really want to take him. I'd rather take a WR or LB.

I'd have no prob with that.

But don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Plenty have predicted it already. You're not exactly going on a limb

I'd honestly pass on him and get BPA in the 1st

SJB in the 2nd (6'3 CB with some nice moves imo)

He's not big, but he can cover and he's mean. I like that type of player.

Watch his film, especially against LSU for all you OBJ creamers. Playmaker

You mean when Beckham had 100+ yards and a huge kickoff return

Beecham stretched the field that game

Certainly in the pool of 10 most likely at #27

I have Dennard and Gilbert as absolutely already gone. The next tier is Verrett, Roby, & Fuller. I think they would go either over Verrett just for size. At 5-9 189 he could be an world slot cover guy but he'll never match up against the big boys. he reminds me a lot of Casey Hayward but even smaller- closer to Munnerlyn size. Roby & Fuller's coverage skills are not as polished but they do have higher upside potential.

I'm telling all of y'all right now, if Jadaveon Clowney is available when the Saints pick in the 1st round, they're taking him. You can mark it down right now, Vanilla Ice predicted it on March 16th, because it will happen! The Saints have a need at pass rusher, he's a perfect fit for Rob Ryan's defense, and I've heard the Saints are really interested in him. Personally, I think it would be a great pick, they should keep adding pieces to the defense to make it better and better, although I wouldn't mind them taking an O-lineman in the 1st round, O-line is a serious need. But you can book it right now, Clowney in the 1st :-) you know if he's available and all

2013: First-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation and FOX Sports ... received second-team All-America accolades from a multitude of outlets, including Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, SI.com and USA Today ... the Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year by the conference's head coaches ... first-team All-Big 12 ... ranked by ESPN.com as the No. 1 player in the Big 12 ... a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist and Lott IMPACT Trophy quarterfinalist ... invited to the Senior Bowl ... despite not many balls being thrown his way, he ranked second in the Big 12 and tied for seventh nationally with 1.5 passes defended per game (two interceptions, 14 pass breakups) ... since the start of the 2012 season, he topped the nation with 38 passes defended (eight interceptions, 30 pass breakups) ... in his final game as a Horned Frog, he limited Antwan Goodley, Baylor's leading receiver, to just one catch for 12 yards ... also broke up two passes in the process ... earlier in the season, he held Texas Tech's Eric Ward, who had 72 receptions, without a catch for the entire game ... Goodley and Ward were two of the Big 12's top-five receivers ... when lined up against LSU's Odell Beckham Jr., he allowed just one reception ... totaled a season-best seven stops, including a sack, while adding three pass breakups versus LSU ... recorded 39 tackles on the season, including 3 1/2 for loss, with a sack and forced fumble ... 31 of his 39 tackles were solo stops ... his interceptions came in a three-week span against Kansas and Texas ... had at least one pass breakup in nine of his 11 games with multiple PBUs in four contests ... forced a fumble at Kansas State to go with four tackles ... had a tackle for loss on an Oklahoma State 4th-and-1 at the TCU 17 ... it was part of four stops to go with a pass breakup against the Cowboys ... also had a TFL and PBU at Texas Tech ... broke up two passes with a tackle for loss at Oklahoma.
