I would bet all I had that if the Saints have the first pick and have Tyler Warren added to the team we currently have Arch Manning would walk from Austin back home to New Orleans.

Because the "ownership" is Gayle Benson, who was a lovely wife, but not a business person or a football person. IOW, she hasn't a clue.

Mickey Loomis IS ownership.
He is literally named in Gayle’s Will. Dennis Lauscha is the admin of her estate upon her passing. If Lauscha can’t, Loomis then becomes admin of her estate.

August Board more than 10 years ago when I posted here that the Saints needed a Bill Parcell's - type of "football guy" to be the GM.

Saints need to hire a new GM first and let him hire new head coach.
