Thought we'd get to 10-7 with Winston but now 7-10 sounds right.

So 5 -7 then win the rest except @Tampa to finish 9 -8 and go to the playoffs.

Ugh, we lost to atlanta, Philly and Carolina who would all hold the tiebreaker over us.
I thought last year was bad, but Injuries have destroyed us this year.

We could beat Tampa if we are as healthy as we were in the first meeting minus Winston. Saints just have their number.

We are back to the Haslett years ... hoping to win 3 out of 4 of our last games, while needing 3 teams to drop a game.

Everything can't be blamed on Goodell and something that happened 9 years ago. Eventually Payton has to plan to have a quarterback back after Brees and not keep him playing a couple years too long. He has to spend some draft capital on good recievers instead of using next year's pics to trade up this year for defensive player, that good when playing can't seem to stay on the field.
If he was so big on mahommes why didn't he make a move that would have guaranteed you a better shot at getting him? I understand that the chiefs traded up to get him but if you think that is "YOUR GUY" you make a preemptive move. Not look back and then say "well I thought he was good and was going to draft him"

Could be argued that he may have thought he had that in Winston and/or Hill. He could not have anticipated trying to make a run w the 3rd string guy.
Agree w your statement about Mahommes, but we have no idea if he tried and/or what the other team was demanding

The mahommes comment was just an example, of everyone always saying we didn't draft him but our coach is some quarterback guru.
I'm actually pulling for jameis and was disappointed he got hurt. But according to most of the "coaches" on this board he sucks.
If he really honestly thought taysom is the answer at long term quarterback, he needs to back off the vicodin or whatever he is doing now.
The only quarterback I remember him drafting is Garrett Grayson. Where is he know?
The packers knew farve was going down so they drafted Rodgers, they knew that Rodgers is a primary Donna so they drafted love, granted haven't seen much
The giants knew Eli was done, they drafted Jones
Bellichick did a sorry stop gap year with cam but he drafted Jones
We have drafted Garrett fricking Grayson lol

Fyi,FYI, reply wasn't negative towards your response. Just a joke the way our organization thinks sometimes

Those posters make me laugh bc they won’t now acknowledge the fact that Winston was actually winning with this team and the best Semien can do is pad stats in the 4th
I think he honestly tried w Teddy and Winston and sees Hill as the role he plays. But gave Hill a shot out of respect

I said that I CAN REMEMBER, I missed the last one.
Is reading comprehension a joke to you?
Haven't really heard much about book this season and yes I will make myself look like a dumbass in the last post by saying, I wanted him to start after the terrible play we've seen I wanted him to start to see what we had.

Honestly it looked like Payton was making jameis just play safe, eliminate turnovers and get his mind set to that. I think, and just my thoughts, before one of them make a stupid comment. If he would have made it through the season with alot of turnovers and came back next year, Payton would open up the offense

The Saints are one of five teams at 6-7-0 vying for that 7th and final playoff spot.

Wouldn't they be the 10th seed right now based on conference records
7) Wash: 5-3
8) Minny: 4-4
9) Philly: 4-4
10) Saints: 4-5
11) Atl: 3-6
Other teams within 1 game conference records:
6) SF: 5-5
12) Car: 3-6
13) Sea: 2-6
7) Wash: 5-3
8) Minny: 4-4
9) Philly: 4-4

Atlanta is ahead of New Orleans in the NFC South based on head to head (1-0).

Wasn't thinking about the fact that it resets after each team is ranked. So, once Wash, Minny & Philly are respectively ranked; they would then look at the 2 club tie-breaker
