I'm sure it's been talked about, but I have no idea how Brandon Coleman wasn't drafted. I hope he pans out because it'd be nice to have a decent receiving threat with his size in this offense with what we already have.

Looking at that list, only Cunningham and Strozier weren't actually signed on Saturday.

Jacobs is the only guy that definitely signed Sunday. Harris and Boykin are unknown(likely try outs).

So that's 19 definite UDFA signings(plus Golic makes 20 total signings) and 8 definite try outs, with 2 unknowns(likely try outs).

You really thought I thought those were real?

I don't know how you didn't pick up that heavy sarcasm in that post and the next one about me losing my job.

And the fact that I may have a stalker.

I seem to have 2. One follows me into threads and starts arguments with me, and the other is a little more personal.

Doing a quick count we have 88 of our 90 signed. Payton said they keep 1 spot open in case one of the try out guys make it or something comes up.

Being that 2 spots are open they either have high hopes on 2 of these try out guys or they have something else in mind with the other spot(I have an inkling).

Either way I think they both stay open until after the rookie mini camp so we can see what these guys actually have and what position may need shoring up.

That's my inkling. They didn't leave it open unintentionally. My guess is unless one of these rookie centers really wows them they will sign Goody up. Then one more spot for one of the try out guys or another vet.

Still cannot believe Brandon Coleman went undrafted, and can't believe we were able to get him as an UDFA. He could definitely wind up being the steal of this draft. I'm more excited about that move than any of our 2-3 day draft selections. Love Jean Baptiste, but Coleman really intrigues me.

Fun UDFA Fact:

quote:

Despite his late start in the sport, Uzo-Diribe hopes this isn't his last season on the gridiron. A descendant of the Igbo tribe in Nigeria, Uzo-Diribe hopes to follow in the footsteps of his cousin, Osi Umenyiora, and play in the National Football League. Umenyiora plays for the Atlanta Falcons.

Will Osi have to fight a member of the Igbo tribe if they meet on the field?
