The market for DTs is crazy right now

Onyemata got $13M per year
Dalvin Tomlinson just got $14M per year from the Browns
Hargrave got $21M per year from the 49ers.
Really thought Tomlinson might fly under the radar and we could nab him. Crazy that he got $14M a year. Really interested to see what we do. FAs are going fast and there’s not a ton of names left that get you excited

Last few years we have been players in the 2nd wave.
Would be nice to know where our current cap is at. Lost track of all the restructuring lol
Maybe Sheldon Rankins can be brought back. Shelby Harris is an intriguing option

This may be 1 of the few years I would be in favor of trading future picks. Depending on who we sign in free agency, we will have comp picks next year. Picking up a few DL prospects in the 3rd-4th round gives you depth and chances to hit on another Onyamata or Hicks type guy.
I'd say trade back, but god knows we won't do that!

We need those picks and our picks to rebuild the roster.
Also, we already are missing our 2nd next year from the Olave trade.
