Man this thing has been everywhere and seems like it's being touched by more people than previous ones probably were. Of course that's just a hunch I really have no clue. Watching a clip of Ellen where Brees brings it around the audience. Between that and Payton bringing it around to people in Miami and at the parade, is this unusual for the trophy to travel around like this? Also does anyone know where specifically it's final resting place will be?

whereever they put it, I think they should leave all the fingerprints on it and not clean it up. It would show that it belongs to everyone.

I don't ever remember the trophy traveling around like that. Pretty cool though.

I'm pretty sure it will either be at Airline Drive or on display in the Loge level of the Superdome.

I lived in D.C. during the Redskins' run of Super Bowl wins. Saw tons of photos in peoples' offices, showing them next to the Lombardi. (And in almost every photo, the trophy was filthy with fingerprints.)

There's not a person that touched that thing that would ever want to see it tarnished and ratty looking. Shine that puppy up once we put it on the shelf. It's gonna be around a long time. Give it the respect it deserves. If you've just got to get one grubby, then go win another one.

People act like new orleans is the only city where the fans were excited when their team won the trophy. Our fans have touched the trophy more than other fans, are you seriously saying this crap out loud?
