I think the rest of the league helped with our hire of Payton, John Fox called us and recommended him, Parcells recommended him, Gruden recommended him. Its almost like we had to hire him. We were in the right place at the right time. And yes, Green Bay fricked up, choosing McCarthy over Payton.
