Yep, I’ve started to notice how often I’m trying to talk to my friends and they are half arse nodding in agreement while staring down at some meaningless shite on their phones. Phones can be a powerful tool but 99% of the time they are just distraction devices meant to pull your attention into a thousand meaningless directions.

His point is what is the purpose of going into a public event just to sit and stare at your phone the whole time, which you could do perfectly well at home. It makes me cringe so hard when people share pictures of concerts and every single person has their phone up in the air. You mfers who were born before 2000 got to live some real life experiences without this bs.

At concerts we used cigarette lighters before 2000.
