It won't be there late in the first, but the Saints desparately need a pass rushing DE. Grant is probably gone (although cap experts might have a better feel for the hit than I)
No need at safety. They'll resign Sharper and Young and Jenkins will be ready after next season. Second choice (maybe should be first) is LT. After that, depth at LB (middle or OLB) and depth at DT.

The saints need Outside Linebacker help first and foremost. I believe both guys are up for contract as well in the offseason.. Then we need D-line depth.. First DT, then DE.
The saints don't need to draft offensive line in the first three rounds.. because this staff excels in finding solid offensive linemen in the later rounds.. (4th-6th)
And again no need to draft any runningbacks early.. unless it is BPA.. (CJ Spiller would be badass! heh)
The linebackers you guys mention will not be available that deep in the first round.
1. Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri
(Travis Lewis out of OU would be awesome if possible as well)
2. Jeff Owens, DT, Georgia
(if you must go o-line you could probably get Ciron Black here late second round.)
3. Rahim Alem, DE, LSU
4. Sergio Render, G, Virginia Tech or
Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin

Terrance Cody will be available in the later rounds because there are two absolute studs at DT coming out this year.. but I still doubt he's available as late as the Saints will be picking and I rather pass.
Now if the Saints could package a trade somehow maybe involving Brown and picks? Lol who knows but that would be badass to draft Gerald McCoy, OU or Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska. Those guys are absolute freaks.
(Disclaimer: There really is no need to talk next year's draft because this is OUR Season NOW!.. but it is always fun doing mock drafts.. even tho they hardly go anything like expected)

I hate to admit it, but hes terrible. Stopping the run is TERRIBLE. And hes really not all that good of a pass rusher either.

DE Carlos Dunlap
6-6, 290, 4.6 speed
Florida
Yeah, in college, he should be more dominant. That may scare a few of you away in that he doesn't dominate consistently at a lower level, but actually that'd really be bad if he's picked in the Top 5 by a horrible team (like the Raiders or Bucs), and has to be the next Reggie White for that team.
Whereas, if he falls to #32 (if he does something stupid) , he'd be a steal for a veteran Championship team.

I think they took Jenkins not being sure how well Greer would perform and how Porter would continue to develop. I would have rather that they took Clay Matthews or his running mate from USC now with the Texans.

I'd fricking love to see him in Black and Gold.. but there's no way he falls to us.

I would love to get Rolando McClain from Alabama if he comes out

I honestly don't think Bushrod has what it takes to be a starter, but obviously a solid backup. If we can't afford Brown then we need a LT badly.
What makes you say he doesn't have what it takes? Is it due to him coming in and completely shutting down opposing DE's? This guy came in with an injury to our starting LT and hasn't looked back. He might give up a sack every third game or so, but he looks the part and has played extremely well
