Congrats on the win. However I have to say we beat ourselves today. Field goals in the red zone lose games. Schaub seems to have happy feet inside the redzone. If the Texans score Td's on half of the 4 times in the first half the game is much different. The defense plays differently and the saints offense then becomes predictable. I'm sure plenty of you will see it a different way and thats fine. Saints have a great offense but the defense is very suspect especially considering the NFC oponnents. My take.
Good Luck the rest of the way.

So, Texans ineffiency in the redone wasn't caused by good D? Did you have the same problem against your last two opponents?

ETA: 2-0 against cupcakes shouldnt be your measuring stick. You got beat by a better team.

I'd go with Drew Brees raping your defense, but that's just me.

5 wide with no backs most of the second half isn't predictable? only losers make excuses.

if the Saints would have scored a touchdown every possession and the defense got a turnover every Texans possession the Saints would have won in a blowout!

umm, beating yourself is GIVING away TO's. That is beating yourself. How did you feel about that lucky TD you got? You will never see such a lucky TD again by the texans in your lifetime. That is what I thought. WHO DAT!

Saints were better in the redzone, that's the difference.

Stop making excuses, though. You got beat, move on to next week and good luck the rest of the way.

I would say the Saints shooting themselves in the foot allowed the Texans to jump out to a lead in the first place. Two dropped passes on third downs killed our first two drives.

was thinking the same thing. we were behind all game mostly, and were not running much if at all. Silly posts like this with no rational thinking before hitting the post button makes me laugh.

Who we gotta worry about other than Green Bay?

As we have seen and all predicted the Eagles can't protect Vick, and he simply can't stay healthy.

Our defense other than the Packers doesn't face a team with more than 2 talented WR's and a skilled TE.

I expected the juvenile BS responses. Keep giving up 30 every week and see how things turn out.

No doubt the Saints have a great offense.

Stay classy Metairie,

Not everyone can play the Dolphins and Colts to start the season.

Keep giving up 40 to teams that don't blow.
