He isn't elite, but he's a viable starter in this league and we have him as a backup. Glad we got him

i put teddy in that bobby hebert category, just good enough to win games for you if the whole team plays very well but cant carry the team

That’s exactly the question. Each list should look exactly the same. It does for me. What makes them different?

Is that the standard you want to set on who is the better player? Whoever has the better stats? Cause I’m about to take you to school shel lol

I think we should start with you explaining how a dude who has a 103.7 QB Rating in his starts is producing at a bottom tier level.

You've yet to explain that. You just keep saying what you think is so, but given nothing to show us why you think that, nothing objective.

Don’t go crawfishing now

High percentage throws in a small sample size will lend itself to a nice QB rating.

It doesn’t mean he’s better than every QB that has a lower QB rating than him. That’s frickin dumb

Well, good thing my argument has been consistent so as to differentiate from the 2.

If I were using only stats, I'd be saying he's a top 6-8 QB since he took over as a starter, as that's where his QB rating would rank him. But I'm not saying he's a top 6, I'm saying he's league average.

You're out here saying that dudes, with no objective data to support having played better than Bridgewater is right now in their entire short careers, are unquestionably better than him right now.

But you can’t conceptualize QBs with worse QB ratings being better than him ?

So you know there are too many variables to actually gauge players like that. Stop being a dope shel

Except that 2 of the guys on your list are youngsters, 1 being a rookie, and both have never played at the level Bridgewater is at now, and it's not even a super high level. They just haven't.

And Cam, it's not like he's just a tad worse this season, he's been mediocre for quite a while now. He's right there in that average camp with Bridgewater, the sample size on his mediocre play is quite large now.

Sam Darnold, huh?

Since LE's post just a mere hours ago, Darnold is putting up quite a stinker, and Cam Newton might have lost his starting job to Kyle Allen.

Famous last words of LE after the Darnold debacle last night.

And like that, poof, LE's gone.
