Look I've been a huge anti-Taysom guy, but Jameis has been so bad that I'm willing to try.

Taysom is the emergency qb, you might not even see him on the field unless it's a throw

If it's a 1, 2-game scenario, taysom May would give us the best chance at stealing a couple games. His running would really help out our struggling oline

I think TH can be more successful with the weapons we have right now, compared to last year. Winston either needs to heal up completely and come back or take a backseat unless Hill or Dalton can’t succeed either.

I'm old enough to remember when this board was 90% Winston fanbois shitting on anyone who voiced concern that he's not very good (granted many of those were obnoxious posters as well), and now the board is sitting here appetizing on crow.

Maybe in the future both sides can stop being so damn obnoxious and blind in their biases. But no, I know that will never happen.

Taysom is not a NFL qb. He's just not. I love his grit and love his plays where he comes in and runs the ball on short yardage situations. However, I don't get the continued fascination with him at QB. My God, make it stop.

The only thing that could make this offense even more boring and predictable would be Taysom starting at QB

Come on now Melvin, they only have a 33% chance to guess who's running, Ingram, kamara or taysom lol. But since 99% of the time he's in I don't know why we waste blockers by putting wide outs

Winston is absolute trash. I’d prefer Semien at this point

Well he was a pretty good qb that didn't turn the ball over with a good hc and gameplan. We lacked talent at wr last year, and with these huge additions we thought losing Sean wouldn't be a big deal.

Turns out losing Sean was a big fricking deal

Who thought this?

Remember when everyone here was here why Payton wasn't opening up the offense with Winston? Now you know why. He knew the risks of doing that, so he forced Winston into being a game manager.

Winston was not pretty good. He was kept in check by his head coach because he was indeed not very good. He was and is unreliable, which is detrimental to a team.

What surprises me is that we haven't seen him have an amazing game. He's been consistently bad, which is counter to his history. He usually has a few lights out games mixed in with this boneheaded ones.

Screwed Taysom up by not mixing his run to pass ratio. If at least the threat of an occasional throw were there, he would have had much more success.

He had less than shite to work with at wr last year. Our guys literally could not get open.
