There's low IQ and then there is Carolina Panthers.

I watched both of them yesterday. And I watched Schough today. I am fine with Schough.
Weak QB class coming out in the draft.

You DO NOT unless Shough just shows no signs of improvement.

We saw him play a lot better today.

last week the Saints were skunked by the Rams, but they are a legit super bowl contender. They also put up 42 on the 49ers today. We don't really need to worry about what happened last week.

Shough went out there threw for over 280 yards and 2 TD's and didn't turn the ball over.

More importantly, that was as good as the offense has played in weeks.

The Panthers don't have a good pass rush. So, I'm cautiously optimistic on what I saw today, but on the other hand I would have been more concerned if Shough and the offense couldn't take advantage of that.

we get a bye then play Atlanta who can rush the passer better.

let's see if Shough can keep it rolling.

I'll trust our young HC for now. He saw something in Shough nobody else did, and it is starting to show.

If Shough keeps playing well enough I think it just allows you a longer look with him and see how he plays with hopefully an improving roster. It wouldn’t be ideal to take a qb in a down qb draft with a rebuilding roster anyway(especially if he’s showing some potential). Maybe we can actually get a few difference makers and if next year is still rough then you get one in 27.
