I'm not against the move, just don't understand why we needed to sign have a 5th RB on the roster who is past his prime with 2 torn acls

1. Unlikely he sees the field unless its at FB or they're on the 1 yrd line.

2. He's Deuce motherfrickin' McAllister

why sign a guy in the playoffs that will do nothing for you

There's obviously a reason they signed him. IT'S NOT TO SIMPLY GET HIM A RING. Saints think they can use him. The day a roster spot is just given up for a guy who the coaches have no intention of ever playing is the day hell freezes.

This thread made me lol. First off, no NFL team just signs a guy as motivation or to be cheerleader.

Secondly, if PT goes down, saints are left with bell who has been sucking and Reggie who we all know cannot be an everydown back. This signing is insurance. Geez we have some idiot fans.

I think that he takes carries from Bell, and this is for, AT MOST three games. no reason to meltdown.

Because if Thomas is limited we need someone who can pass block. Which is something Duce does very well. Reggie is not very good at this he has almost gotten Drew killed once or twice this year.

After thinking about logically a lil more I think its happen because Pierre is one hit away from being out. Bush is one tweek away from being out. The more i think about it...Its a safety precaution move for moving forward in the playoffs.

It has been suspect, last night on NFL network they spent 10 minutes on how it has not been that good.

While focusing on the negative plays without looking at the positive plays. If they looked at Thomas or (eek) Bell in pass protection, then they would have wept.
