I don't understand that call

He wasn't down until he was in the end zone.

He was being fricking tackled and he wasn't down. How do you spot the ball when he's not down?

Foreword momentum. He possessed the ball at the 1 yard line. That was the furthest downfield he possessed it. That’s where you spot the ball.

He didn't have possession till the goal line 1st of all.

2nd of all that's not how this works. He was being tackled. The ball is spotted when he is down. Which was the end zone.
