yea its all highlights with a ton of cool bonus features. the Blu Ray looks incredible though and its really put together well. now if i could just get my book and football id be happy.

So I got my DVD... Looks like they're sending me another...
The email says that my Comemorative Book SHOULD be on it's way and basically, they don't know when the frick I'll get the football... Oh well. Keep on waiting on...

The book arrived today. Looks nice. Mine was #002053, so that gives you a vague hint at how many they printed.
Never noticed how extensive the ink on Shockey's arm was until I saw the 2 page spread.
Just from a quick skim, there are probably a couple parts that will make me tear up (I know that makes me a pathetic old jock-sniffing drunk, btw).
Still waiting on the football.

I received the book yesterday and the Blu Ray came about a week and a half earlier. Still waiting on the football. The pic on the cover of the book is great. Porter running into the endzone and Manning on the ground.
I haven't looked through it in detail yet but I'm sure I'll do the same thing. I watched the Blu Ray right when it came in. Every time I see the woman crying right before Hartley's kick in the NFC Championship I can't hold back the tears.

Does anyone here have both LSU champioinship DVDs? Victory For LSU (2003) was much better than Heart of Geauxld....there was more emotion because they showed shots of the crowd & had Hawthorne's voice. Geauxld was like a rerun of Inside LSU Football...boring.
How does the Saints DVD compare? Do the highlights have Henderson's voice?

got the dvd and the book at the same time. no football yet...
? about the dvd...
mine is playing and as it gets to the halftime of the superbowl, right after you hear "30 minutes left", the screen goes blank and i can see no more... also, from the "menu", i am unable to view any of the "extra features"... anyone else have this problem?
(i went back to the start, went to the menu, everything i can think of and this still happens at this exact point... )
and to SchlikStyck and anyone else whom may be infatuated with "germans", i apologize in advance for the "bump", but i did not see any post on this issue in this thread and did not want to start a new thread on the dvd issue, especially on draft day, so if you have nothing to add, just carry on about you business. thanks.

Sounds like your dvd is messed up. I watched mine start to finish the other day, and what you described did not happen. Check with SI, but I bet it is a bitch to get another disc sent to you.

I finally got my book today (ordered the set Feb. 9th) Number 21582. The book has ripped pages, and dents all over. I called customer service and they said they are sending me a new one.
