I know it was aggravating to watch brooks smile after he screwed up but that is how some people express certain feelings.I know sometimes when I screw up at work the 1st thing I do is smile. But I do have to say he started the Saints on an upward swing was he the best hell no but he did make it to the playoffs which isn't very easy.I do know some of his throws looked like they were shot out of a cannon.

Brooks didn't play with passion . He did it because he could, if that makes any sense. He never showed much emotion or love tothe fans and at times appeared to have cared less about winning. He just competed. IMO.

Why does jamarcus get so much hate from LSU fans despite being the best qb in school history?

No he's not.

OP, I don't know. I just never really liked him.

Let's not forget that he played injured in front of Delhomme, a player that was obviously the better choice.

Of course, that wasn't Brooks' fault.

That's what killed me. Delhomme had some physical limitations, but he was super competitive. Although, when you think about it, if we went with him, does Haslett get fired? Does Payton get hired?

That there is the question. Hind sight being 20/20, I'd accept the way it was considering it got us to where we are (Payton/Brees era) with our Super Bowl victory and being a perennial playoff contender. Oh how things could of been different.

He was the worst QB in Saints History. Worse than Wade Wilson. He also couldn't read a defense, hated Nawlins and disrespected every Saints fan by being the laziest QB ever.

Do you look at my posts and just try and find something to disagree with or to correct? Certainly seems like you do.

By what measure? Compared to the other QBs in the NFL at that time, record as a starter, completion %, TD - INT ratio, fumbles, etc. Pretty much every way you can judge a player.

He was a below average QB.
