I was considering the saints' week finished, even though the game was in progress, but essentially over. In that case, the eagles would be "this week" and the falcons "next week". And when I use the word "week" im not referring to a calendar week, but an NFL week. You might not like the way I put it but who gives a frick.

this makes abso-fricking-lutely NO sense whatsoever….

you say you consider "this week" finished, and then go on to claim the eagles are "this week", yet we haven't played them? how can the week be over before a game in your "this week" is even played? are you conceding we have already lost to the Eagles before we even play them??
