Drake Maye, the current favorite for MVP at 23
I never said that. I was just pointing out that he made the leap the second year, and I think TS can do the same.

You sure about that? Check his age and check what drew was when he got here. If he works out he can be here for a long time.
It has to be exhausting thinking everyone but you is retarded

Especially when it’s clear the defense is winning you games

I still think CJ could be good. The OL/scheme are disasters. That's why I said he's on the border. That optimism could be wrong and he's contributing to the mediocrity.
*ETA: his rookie year could be the outlier performance

You realize you quoted a comment about Vele, right?

He was talking about Vele not Shough

I think the age with shough isn't that big of a deal. Not like you can hit QBs these days, so good ones will play into the mid to late 30s. You basically have a window with good QBs now... rookie contract and 4 years or so of the next one before their money kills you. Shough should be in his prime during that window, and that's assuming he is one to build to around. I hope he is
Agreed. Especially since a lot of the second tier of QBs are basically guys who failed once and then found their footing at about Shoughs age anyway
