You never have too many corners and jenkins is cheap this yr and if he does good i bet he would not ask for a ridiculous contract to play for a contender

I don't know man. I don't wanna tie up 100 million dollars in 4 corners.

blues, i usually agree with most of your opinions and i know that you do your homework, but how is 3 deep at CB enough when a lot of times teams (specificily in the 2 minute drill) line up in four wide receiver sets??

Few teams have 4 good CBs. Look at what the Eagles just did, trading away a pretty good CB despite easily having the best CB trio in the NFL. You can't FA spend all of your problems away lest you end up like the Redskins for most of the past decade. You need to make good draft picks and have solid, cheap production out of them for 4 or 5 years.

The Falcons have a lot of money tied up in their CB's, and yet their o-line still sucks arse. Their new offensive coordinator is suppose to install a vertical passing game. Yeah, good luck with that.

not saying 3 deep is enough, just that it is solid enough to not warrant reaching to fill need.

jfyi too, unsigned FA CBs still available-

Andre Goodman 2011 Denver starter
Al Harris old as shite but proven
Roderick Hood a guy some wanted here a few years back
Kelly Jennings
David Jones drafted by the Saints in '07, has started some for Cincy
Bryant McFadden
Benny Sapp
Lito Sheppard
Donald Strickland

For veteran minimum many of those would be fine DB backups

Why the urgent need for a #4 CB? We have 3 solid guys under contract for at least two more years.
